Electrical Supply
The voltage in the UK is 230v and we use UK standard 3 pin plugs. Items such as computers, phones and cameras (usually marked 100-240v) can be plugged in using plug adapters. We can provide these at Barry House for your convenience. Our rooms have hairdryers and we can provide an iron for use in your room.
Higher powered items such as hair strengtheners and curlers must be adapted for use with 230v. We do not recommend the use of voltage transformers as these are unreliable
