I stayed in this hotel for 5 days in December for my first Christmas-time visit to London. The hotel was a very easy walk from Paddington station. I stayed in a double ensuite & the room was small by US standards but normal sized for London. For a solo traveler it’s the perfect size! The room was clean & the bed was very comfortable. I had a room facing the street & most of the street noise was minimal, except Friday night which got a bit loud. I’m a heavy sleeper so I was fine with this, but if you’re a light sleeper a room not facing the street might be better. The owner was very friendly & helpful with directions & recommendations. There is no lift but the owner kindly offered to carry my luggage up the steps for me. The breakfast is included- from cereals up to full English as you wish – but the breakfast area which is in the basement can get full if all the rooms are full too.
